I arrived back home from the VIP Cruise, just to head back to work. Tonight was the Elton John concert, and I have been called in for local crew with I.A.T.S.E. - Local 5. |

I will be flying to Miami on Thursday to run sound for a VIP Cruise on the Norwegian JEWEL. I will only be gone for 2 days and it will be a simple little gig, now I am just trying to organize getting me back in time to work Elton John's concert. |

Last night was incredible! It was good to see some of my old high school friends. We thought it was not going to be a good turn out, since only 30 tickets were sold, but we had quite a few people show up! Time went by so fast last night... Until the next reunion! |

Yes, I am back home and ready to take it easy! I have no big contracts in the near future, so I plan on getting in some vacation time! I have my 10 year reunion coming up next month, plus a few little vacation destinations planned. I am hoping to get all the photos up from all the past gigs this year. Plus, I plan on upgrading a lot of my web site while I am home this time! |

I head out tomorrow to Southampton, England to join the P&O Arcadia to update a few show tracks. After a weekend of fun working there, I head to Hamburg, Germany where I will finally be joining the Norwegian JEWEL. This is my last big gig scheduled this year, and I am due for a well-deserved vacation. These last two ships have wore me out, but I will find the energy to finish off this last ship before taking a break! |

The Paris Can Can show is going back out on tour. Two tours have been annouced, first in South Korea in January 2006. The second being in the UK from February-April 2006. Check out pariscancan.com for further information. |

| 2 More New Cruise Ship Projects |

I am heading back to Europe tomorrow for the first of 2 new cruise ship installs. The first one is the Norwegian PRIDE OF AMERICA, and the second is the Norwegian JEWEL. I am just part of the production team for the first project, but the second project I go back to being the Sound Designer / Manager with another PM1D Sound Console. These projects will keep me busy until August. |

After a long contract, I am pleased to have worked with the new Yamaha PM1D Sound Console on the new P&O ARCADIA cruise ship. I was the Sound Designer / Manager for all 6 new production shows we installed. We had an amazing sound system for the project, and I successfully completed another Jean Ann Ryan Productions new cruise ship install. |

On the 19th, I head to Venice, Italy for my next new cruise ship project. I will be the Head Sound Manager / Designer for the new P&O Arcadia cruise ship. And once again, I will get to work with Andrew Lloyd Webber's - Really Useful Group (RUG) Production Team in association with Jean Ann Ryan Productions on the production of Songs of Andrew Lloyd Webber. The sound system package will be very powerful and it will keep me busy for the next few months. I have also been talking with other producers/clients about other gigs for the remainder of 2005, and let me just tell you it is going to be a busy year for me!!! But that is what I just love about this business... keeping it fresh, different, and busy! |

I just finished the Norwegian SUN project, and now working the 29th Annual Carbonell Awards Show for Jean Ann Ryan Productions. I finished up all the video for the show and ran the video mixer backstage. It was a huge success, and we got many compliments saying it was the best it has ever been. |

I have just been booked all up for this year with gigs. I start out by heading back on the Norwegian DREAM cruise ship to Light Design a brand new show being installed onboard. I will also be acting as a Changeover Technician for the new cast that will be arriving. This gig lasts for about 3 weeks, and then a few days off before heading down to Florida for an awards show. I will hopefully be getting the details of my job description and title soon! After that I will be heading back out with the Paris Can Can - World Tour traveling to France and Dubai. That will finish up in the beginning of January 2005. |

I have finally got around to adding more than 400 photos online. I added all the photos from Australia and New Zealand from the Paris Can Can - World Tour, plus some more pictures I found. I added the 1998 Season Program for Lincoln Amphitheatre, plus several Song and Dance Programs for Northern Kentucky University. This brings my total of photos to over 3800. |

My website displaying the name "The Sound Guy" is now 5 years old. I opened the website to the public on August 1, 1999. The domain name www.thesoundguy.cc was not purchased yet, but I still displayed the name "The Sound Guy" on my website since August 1, 1999. My domain name (thesoundguy.cc) was purchased and directed to my new web host on February 23, 2000. Wow, how time flies! |

The major update I did on my website was the "My Current Location" section of the website. The Mini-Calendar on the front page and the "Current Location" link under the news section are now in full operation. There are still a few bugs I need to fix, but for the most part it is now online. I have had the idea for this program for years now, and I have finally got it started. This will keep my visitors informed on my current location around the world, plus what show, project, or activity I am currently working on. In addition I have done the minor updates I always do (Resume update, etc.), but now I have added one of my big projects to the site. I think my next big project will be the "Links" section. But, I am not making any promises. |

I just returned home from New Zealand and Australia while working on the Paris Can Can - World Tour 2004. The traveling was long, but seeing the countries for the first time was well worth it. I would suggest to anyone to visit New Zealand and Australia if they get the chance! It was such an amazing feeling to see the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge in real life. Pictures and videos do not give you the same impact and feeling. I am looking forward to returning to New Zealand and Australia, either for business or for personal visit. Hopefully next time it will be on personal time! I will hopefully have the pictures online from the tour and the cities soon. |

The pariscancan.com website is finally online and ready for the world to view. I have been working on the site for the Paris Can Can - World Tour for months, and now it is ready. I still will continue to work on the website when I return from New Zealand and Australia. If you get a chance, check out the site and send me some feedback on whether you like it or dislike it. |

Sorry it took so long to upload the photos, but I have been extremely busy with other projects. But I uploaded 444 photos to the American Family Theatre - Wizard Of Oz Tour on the West Coast. Most of the pictures are of the theatres we visited, but I have also included cast photos and other photos throughout the journey. This brings my total number of photos to over 3300. |

One week remains, until I get to visit the 2 beautiful countries of New Zealand and Australia! I have been wanting to visit these countries since I was a little kid, and I finally get the opportunity to see them. I will be heading out with the Paris Can Can - World Tour, as the Lighting and Sound Supervisor. Also, the pariscancan.com website will be up for the world to view in the next couple of days. I have been working on it many hours of each day, to get it ready before we head to New Zealand and Australia. |

Happy Birthday to me! What a better gift for my birthday than another tour gig. I got a call from American Family Theatre today to be their FOH Audio Engineer for the West Coast tour of Wizard Of Oz . I join the tour in Vegas on Saturday March 26, and go through to the end of May. This will still give me a few weeks of vacation before heading back out on the Paris Can Can - World Tour. |

I just finished the first leg of the Paris Can Can World Tour, and now some time off. The San Diego leg of the tour was rescheduled for November, so the next leg will probably be my favorite - Australia. We leave in June for another leg of the world tour in Auckland, New Zealand; Sydney & Melborne, Australia; and Noumea, New Caledonia. |

I got requested for the new Norwegian DAWN cruise ship - so they pulled me from the Norwegian SEA and sent me off to Holland. I was put in the A1 position - Sound Manager, and got to work with Andrew Lloyd Webber's - Really Useful Group (RUG) Production Team in association with Jean Ann Ryan Productions on the production of Music of the Night. It is a good thing, because I have been on the Norwegian SEA for over 6 months now. |

I was part of the World Premiere Crew of the new Meyer Sound "M3D" Line-Array Speakers. We used the new line-array for the 2001 US FIRST National Robotics Competition at Walt Disney World - Epcot. They covered an outdoor stadium/arena for 14,500 people. Other speakers included Meyer Sound's CQ-1's, MSL-4's, UPA-1P's, UPA-2P's, and 650 Subs. |
